THE START OF A NEW YEAR AND A NEW FLYING SEASON
As the days get longer and the weather improves I know we will once more get busy. Westonzoyland Airfield where we fly from has some beautiful countryside around it - moorlands, hills and coastline - which change throughout the year. At the moment. In January, the moors are wet and the flood waters almost monochromatic. As the year goes on these will dry out and lush green grass will replace the water, which in turn will turn golden yellow in summer.
We are lucky to be able to fly in such a place.
